The Silhouette Design Store has responded to this shift by introducing labelling on designs that have been created with AI involvement, giving shoppers more information than ever before about what they are buying.

What the Labels Look Like
There are two labels you may now notice on designs in the Silhouette Design Store.
AI-Assisted means the design was created with some involvement from AI tools, alongside human design work.
Fully AI-Generated means the design was created entirely using AI.
If a design has no label at all, it was created without the use of AI.
Shopping with the Labels in Mind
The labels are visible on design listings, so you can factor them into your purchasing decisions before you buy. If you are looking for a specific type of creative origin, whether that is AI-generated, AI-assisted, or fully human-made you now have a straightforward way to tell them apart at a glance.
For shoppers who have no preference about how a design was made, or who actively enjoy the aesthetic that AI tools produce, the labels are there if you want them. For those who specifically seek out hand-crafted, human-made designs, the labels are equally useful as a guide.
A Note About My Designs
My watercolour designs are hand-painted by me, which means they carry all the warmth, imperfection, and personality that comes with something made by human hands. That slightly uneven petal, the soft bleed of colour at the edges, the whimsical charm that is difficult to replicate digitally — that is intentional. It is part of what makes them feel the way they do.
None of my designs to date in the Silhouette Design Store carry an AI label, because none of them are made using AI. If that human-made quality is something you value in your crafting projects, you will find it throughout my shop.
